Boy, 4, murdered in his bed: Killer struck as child slept near twin brother

A boy of four is believed to have been murdered in his bed as he slept near his twin brother. The killer is thought to have struck in the early hours of Sunday morning. Neighbors heard screams around 3.30am and saw the boys’ mum’s 22-year-old partner carrying a youngster, crying: “Somebody please help.” Armed police later arrested a 32-year-old man in a nearby railway tunnel. KINGSLAND, GA — The City of Kingsland Police Department has arrested a man wanted overseas suspected of murdering a child. Police say they answered a call about an intoxicated person at the Flash Food/Krystals restaurant located at 1341 Georgia Hwy 40 in Kingsland. LAFAYETTE, IN – An Indiana woman serving a life sentence in the beating death of her 4-year-old stepdaughter wants a judge to reverse her conviction in the 2005 killing. State deputy public defender Joanna Green asked a Tippecanoe County judge Thursday to reverse Michelle D. The Sheriff’s Office said that deputies arrived at the home of Theresa Corrales, 37, and Luis Cortez, 38, on Saturday morning to find an infant unable to breathe. The baby, identified as 3-month-old Adrian Cortez, was transported to mercy hospital where he was pronounced dead. An Apollo Beach man is charged with child abuse. Hillsborough County deputies say 26-year-old Joshua Johnson shook a 4-month-old baby, causing brain injuries. Deputies say Johnson admitted to forcefully picking up the baby and putting her down, bouncing her head against things and not supporting her head. READ MORE HERE

GULFPORT — A Gulfport woman has been charged with felony child abuse after police say she struck her 9-year-old son in the head with a bat. A former Texas high school teacher was charged for having inappropriate relationships with multiple students.Tonya Flink is accused of having sex with at least four of her students during the 2010-2011 school year. LAS VEGAS  – A Saudi Air Force sergeant in the United States for training has been arrested on child sexual assault charges over accusations he raped a 13-year-old boy in a Las Vegas hotel, and bail was set on Friday at just over $1.2 million, authorities said. Mazen Alotaibi is accused of raping the boy on New Year’s Eve at the Circus Circus hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, where both Alotaibi and the boy were guests, according to a criminal complaint. A 32-year-old man was on Friday imprisoned for four years and three months for aggravated rape and the sexual assault of a child. The man has in recent years been employed at several preschools in Malmö in southern Sweden, where the attacks are reported to have occurred. Kevin Taylor wanted for Felony Child Abuse

KALAMAZOO, MI – Kalamazoo Public Safety is asking for information on the whereabouts of a suspected child abuser. On Wednesday, January 16, Public Safety officers responded to Bronson Hospital on a report of child abuse.  Doctors at the hospital were treating a 2-year-old child with injuries consistent with child abuse, including blunt force trauma to his abdomen and multiple bruises on his body. TULSA – A Tulsa man who court documents say sexually abused a young girl for nearly five years turned himself into authorities Thursday. A senior manager  was forced to resign after downloading images of child abuse

More than 50 civil servants have been caught downloading porn while “working” at their desks. The pictures and videos included full nudity and topless snaps, and led to disciplinary action against a total of 55 staff at the Welsh Government offices. A former teacher has been jailed for five years for stealing her own daughter’s identity to get multiple credit cards and run up thousands in debt. Rebecca Jean Ferguson posed as her daughter Caitlyn to apply for eight credit cards. Caityln Sigler, now aged 21, had no idea her mother was using her name and has been left with a damaged credit history and says her life has been ruined.
