Two New Jersey women have violated the first two rules of Fight Club – and it has landed them in hot water. Erica Kenny, 22, and Chanese White, 29, pleaded guilty in court on Thursday to encouraging young children under their supervision at a day care center to fight each other – similar to the ‘fight club’ depicted in the 1999 hit film starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. According to Union County prosecutors, the two former workers at the Lightbridge Academy day care center in Cranford, New Jersey, encouraged children between the ages of four and six to push and shove each other in the schoolyard. NASHVILLE, Tennessee — A lawsuit by a Tennessee high school basketball player who was raped and assaulted by teammates claims officials knew athletes were being abused but did nothing. The victim, identified only as John Doe, was a freshman at Ooltewah High School in December when he was held down by two older players while a third forced a pool cue into his rectum, tearing his bladder. A Beaumont man accused of raping a 3-month-old child is facing a minimum 25-year prison sentence after a Jefferson County grand jury indicted him on aggravated sexual assault charges. Cedric Madison, 41, was caught earlier this month sexually assaulting a family member on Betty Lane, according to a probable cause affidavit released Wednesday by the Jefferson County district attorney’s office. The attorney for a woman charged with child abuse for allegedly beating her son with a coat hanger says Indiana’s religious objections law gives her the right to discipline her children according to her evangelical Christian beliefs. Kihn Par Thaing, 30, of Indianapolis was arrested in February on felony abuse and neglect charges after a teacher discovered her 7-year-old son’s injuries. Thaing is accused of beating her son with a coat hanger, leaving him with 36 bruises and red welts. Her attorney, Greg Bowes, argues in court documents filed July 29 that the state shouldn’t interfere with Thaing’s right to raise her children as she deems appropriate. He cited Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act as part of her defense, saying it gives her the right to discipline her children according to her beliefs. Court documents cite biblical Scripture and state that a parent who “spares the rod, spoils the child.” READ MORE HERE

A former Marietta resident is heading to prison for life after being convicted Thursday of repeatedly raping a child, officials said. Michael Angelo Pabon, 50, was already behind bars in Cherokee County when his trial in Cobb County began Monday, Cobb District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Kimberly Isaza said. In May 2013, Pabon had pleaded to child molestation and was sentenced to 15 years, Isaza said. BRITAIN – Sisters believed to be Britain’s first deaf female pedophiles have been told to expect “very significant sentences” for sexually abusing a six-year-old boy. Sick Julie Fellows, 30, and sister Jennifer, 32, repeatedly molested the youngster over a 14 year period. Worcester Crown Court heard the sisters first started abusing the boy when he was aged six in 2000. Julie was 14-years-old when she lured the boy into a petrol station toilets where she touched her private parts. On another occasion she performed oral sex on the youngster, the court heard. Father charged with murder and child abuse in the death of son, Chandler Berry 

VIRGINIA – A U.S. Navy serviceman has been charged with murder in the death of his infant son earlier this year. Police say 23-year-old Montreaz Berry, of Hampton, was arrested Thursday, more than six months after his son’s death. Authorities say Berry assaulted 5-month-old Chandler Berry at a Hampton home and then called police to report an unresponsive baby at around 1.40pm on January 27.  READ MORE HERE
