A 27 year old Tampa man has vanished after the death of his girlfriend’s 3 year old son. According to the
St. Petersburg Times, Mitchell Blanco, 27, told his girlfriend and investigators that the child had fallen. However, it was determined that the child had multiple concussions and fresh bruising around his ribs and abdomen, consistent with being struck with a blunt object. Blanco has been charged with first degree murder and aggravated child abuse.
