Beatings Led To Toddler’s Death
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 2-year-old boy from Concord was subjected to several beatings, ultimately leading to his death Tuesday afternoon, authorities say. Police found little Josiah Taylor, unconscious and unresponsive in his 345 Mosel Ave. home at about 12:59 p.m. Tuesday. He was pronounced dead at Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze. An autopsy determined his death a homicide — the borough’s 15th of the year.
