TORONTO, Canada (AFP) – The teenage star of director David Schwimmer’s new film “Trust” about online predators urged parents to talk to their kids about staying safe online.

“Doing this film really opened my eyes… made me more aware and more cautious,” said actor Liana Liberato, 15, on Saturday, who as the character Annie meets a boy online who turns out to be much, much older and takes advantage of her in the film, which premiered at the Toronto film festival.
