Both parents of baby found in concrete now in custody
CASS COUNTY, MO — A couple is facing murder charges after a baby’s body was found encased in concrete in November. Authorities say the couple’s meth use killed their baby and endangered the welfare of their other children. On Tuesday authorities said they were still looking for the man and woman. Thursday morning they said Matthew Scroggs turned himself in and Krystal Scroggs did the same later in the day. Cass County Prosecutor Teresa Hensley announced charges against the couple.
