I hope the system doesn’t fail this baby. No amount of rehab will cure these individuals. No defense could possibly justify this abuse. I hope they show lots of pictures to the jury, if they are allowed. Sometimes pictures aren’t permitted because it will emotionally influence the jury. I hope they don’t separate them from the general prison population. Other inmates feel child abusers are the lowest form of life and will abuse them. If there are any other kids in the home that belong to these people they should definitely be in protective custody with no contact. These people can’t be fixed. I work in the system. It;s discouraging and getting worse.
