Autopsy Shows 3-MO Infant Died From Abuse
A 3-month-old boy injured at a Chicago Heights home this week died in a child abuse homicide, and authorities are investigating his parents for allegations of abuse, authorities said today. Aaron Sweatt, of the 200 block of Arcadia Avenue in Park Forest, was injured in an incident believed to have taken place at a home in the 1600 block of Ashland Avenue in Chicago Heights, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Sweatt’s death was ruled a child abuse homicide today by the office, which found he died of multiple injuries from blunt force trauma.
