AMBER ALERT: Kelsie Lee (12)
Neighbors, Authorities continue search for missing girl, 12
PEACHTREE CORNERS, GEORGIA — For about 11 hours Monday, Gwinnett County police, volunteers and other agencies searched for 12-year-old Kelsie Lee. For about 11 hours, their efforts were fruitless. Lee was reported missing at about 8:45 a.m. Monday after her mother returned to the family’s home at 4650 Jones Bridge Circle. It’s believed that Lee’s mother asked her to take the garbage out while she drove her son to school, and the girl’s sister told police that she did so but never came back inside. Authorities launched a full-scale search for most of the day Monday, bringing it to an end when it got dark around 8 p.m. Anyone with information on the location of Kelsie Lee is urged to call 911 or contact the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770-513-5300. The active investigation will continue Tuesday. READ MORE HERE
