The mother of three-year-old Aliayah Lunsford hit her in the head on Sept. 24, 2011, causing her death, according to the a criminal complaint released Friday morning. Lena Lunsford was arraigned Friday morning in Lewis County after being transported back to West Virginia from Florida where she was arrested Thursday. The criminal complaint says Lunsford struck her daughter in the head with handheld object and caused blunt force trauma.
