PANAMA CITY — The suspect in the murder of his 20-month-old son previously served time in the Washington County Jail on battery charges.

Records show that Brown was arrested originally on charges of aggravated battery/domestic violence in on Feb. 10, 2008, and was facing action on those charges when he was arrested in March 2009 on battery charges.
