(WPRI) – While his baby son recovers in the Intensive Care Unit, a Pawtucket father Tuesday faced a judge in Providence District Court. https://eloquentgushing.com/3ek9qr2 DeAnthony Allen, 18, has been arraigned on second degree child abuse charges in connection with the Nov. 13 beating of his 4-month-old son. Last year, the mother, Stephanie Marks got a restraining order against Allen, but, said she trusted him enough to allow him to watch their two kids over the weekend. Marks tells Eyewitness News that Allen called her on Sunday and said that something was wrong. He told her that the baby, Johnnel, had fallen off the bed or that he had possibly rolled over the boy while sleeping with him.
