He’s accused of shooting his son and then leaving the scene.
Police say Richard Goodman Senior shot his son Thursday night in Middlesboro before running to Tennessee, where he was caught.
Neighbors say a man shot and killed his son and left the scene.
Police say Richard Goodman Senior shot his son, Richard Goodman Junior, then headed south Thursday night.
Middlesboro Police sent out a description of the vehicle Goodman was driving.
Cumberland National Park Rangers spotted the truck heading through the tunnel.
They arrested Goodman in Claiborne County with help from the sheriff’s department.
“We didn’t even turn our blue lights on. He simply pulled over to the side when he knew he was being followed. Put his hands up and that’s all there was to it,” Chief Ranger Dirk Wiley said.
Police found the gun Goodman allegedly used in the truck.
