Couple Convicted of 94 Rape, Abuse and Drug Charges

A husband and wife who drugged children with crack cocaine and used one boy as a human dartboard have been convicted of nearly 100 offences. Nicholas Taylor, 47, and Joan Taylor, 44, subjected ten youngsters to a campaign of shocking abuse before getting them hooked on class A drugs to make them ‘more compliant’ before sexually assaulting them. When police raided their home in Northampton they also found a baseball bat under the bed which they used to threaten their child victims. The bat was inscribed with the words ‘The Pain’. The couple was found guilty after a seven week trial at Leicester Crown Court of nearly 100 offences committed against 11 victims between 1996 and 2006.
