A 27-year-old man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting and murdering a 10-month-old boy in Western Australia’s north. The child’s family welcomed the verdict but said his death could have been avoided if police had acted more quickly when his abduction was first reported. Police have confirmed an internal investigation into complaints by the family is being conducted.
