DALLAS, TX — A mother of five who plead guilty to gluing her toddler’s hands to a wall and beating her into a coma was sentenced to 99 years in prison Friday. Elizabeth Escalona, 23, pleaded guilty in July to injury to a child for brutally beating her 2-year old daughter over a potty training issue. Prosecutors say Escalona glued the little girl’s hands to a wall and then repeatedly kicked the girl in the stomach and hit her with various objects, including a jug of milk, a belt and a shoe, police records show.
