Ellen DeGeneres is “devastated” by the recent suicide of a Rutgers University student who was outed on the Internet, and says that “something must be done” about teen bullying. “This needs to be a wakeup call to everyone that teenage bullying and teasing is an epidemic in this country and the death rate is climbing,” DeGeneres says in a video taped at her studio.

i agree with Ellen–something has to be done NOW! We cannot wait for more innocent children/teens to take their lives. We are doing our part by raising awareness and offering workshops, assemblies in schools, churches, and communities to educate on safety, prevention and healing, but we can’t do it alone. We need people, mom’s, dad’s, kids, teen’s, other agencies to partner with us, join our team and STOP BULLYING, abuse and violence. TOGETHER we can build SAFER SCHOOLS, SAFER HOMES & SAFER COMMUNITIES.
