Gunman opens fire at Issaquah school

Man was shot and killed by police

ISSAQUAH—A man was shot and killed after exchanging gunshots with police at an Issaquah Elementary Saturday. No one else was hurt in the incident. Investigators said the 51-year-old man was from the Maple Valley area, but they have not said anything about the man’s motive. At about 11:15 a.m. Saturday, the suspect abandoned his car on an Issaquah street. Martin Donnelly watched as the man walked by his home.
