Man: 234 Child Sex Assaults

Roberto Vicencio-Miramontes, 28, was arrested Thursday for allegedly sexually assaulting the same girl 234 times. He is the second Delta man in a month to be accused of hundreds of sex offenses; last week, police arrested Jeffrey Bigham on suspicion of more than 800 sex offenses. Vicencio is accused of sexually touching the same girl at least three times a week, for more than a year. The alleged abuse began when she was in sixth grade, and sometimes occurred in the girl’s bed, as her younger sister slept.
