Two Accused Of Abusing 6-YO Girl

TRACY — Police arrested a Tracy woman and her roommate on suspicion of felony child abuse early Tuesday morning. Just after midnight, police received a call from a 30-year-old woman in the 100 block of Ninth Street reporting that her roommate was physically absusing her daughter, said Sgt. Tony Sheneman, Tracy police spokesman. When officers arrived they found the woman and two children outside. The 6-year-old girl had a bloody nose, abrasions on her body and swelling to the head. Officers took the roommate Daivoine Perkins, 18, into custody after he answered the door, Sheneman said.
