Now that the baby has died, however, those charges could be amended to manslaughter. Police said the father, Michael Vanderveur, was caring for the child Last weekend when he called 911 at 8:15 a.m. on Sunday to report his baby boy, Ti-Ryn Emery, was not breathing.
