Convicted child pornographer beaten into a coma in jail

Long story short, Pinto was charged with 87 counts of counts of manufacturing and possession of child pornography and placed in Lackawanna County Prison to await sentencing. That was back in 2008 – fast forward to August 8. For whatever reason, Pinto was not being held in protective custody as most perverts are – he was a member of the general population.
