NORTH CAROLINA – A 77-year-old man was arrested on Saturday and charged with multiple counts of raping a child. Wayne Arland Kent, 77, of New London, is charged with three counts of rape of a child, three counts of indecent liberties with a child and three counts of crime against nature, according to the news release from the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office.
