MISSOURI – Four people, three of them members of the victim’s family including his mother, have been arrested for the kidnapping of a six-year-old boy. The suspects claim they were trying to teach the boy about not trusting strangers. The incident took place on Monday in Troy, Missouri, where Lincoln County sheriff’s deputies say the child was lured into a pickup truck by Nathan Firoved, 23, of Jefferson City, Missouri, while he was walking home from school.
