Two people have been arrested in the death of a 3-year-old Gothenburg girl. Herrin is the mother of Misty Herrin, who died last week. Jesseph is the mother’s boyfriend. Police say Misty was unresponsive when she was taken to a Gothenburg hospital on Tuesday afternoon. She was then flown to a Kearney hospital, where she underwent surgery for a brain injury. She died Wednesday. Court documents indicate the girl was shaken.
