Father accused of severely injuring 3-month-old
--------------------------------------------- A Newmarket man accused of beating his 3-month-old son and breaking several bones is being held on $100,000 bail. Jose Orta-Santana was charged with felony first- and second-degree assault. Investigators said the boy was taken to Exeter Hospital on Saturday after suffering a seizure. He was then airlifted to Boston, where doctors found evidence of two skull fractures and 17 broken bones, from his ribs to his toes, police said.By the time you finish reading this, 15 children will have been abused; In the next five minutes, 30 more; Within the next hour, 360 more; And by tonight, close to 8,000+ children will have suffered from abuse, 5 of which will die.
