PLANO, Texas – A 25-year-old Texas woman is charged with capital murder in the death of her boyfriend’s 2-year-old daughter. Grace Ford, who would have turned 3 next month, was found dead with duct tape over her mouth inside her father’s apartment on January 9. The father’s girlfriend, 25-year-old Melinda Muniz, was also inside the apartment. Police found her on the floor, also with duct tape on her mouth and her pants pulled down, according to the station. Raul Ochoa of Richmond is accused of keeping the girl as a sex slave from the age of 12 until she escaped aged 27

This is the horrifying image of a grimy shack which a young girl was forced to build before being held in it as a sex slave for 15 years. The woman, who has not been identified, was repeatedly raped and brutally controlled from the age of 12 by a male relative who kept her imprisoned in the plywood shed with a single mattress at a home in Richmond, California. Raul Ochoa, 52, was convicted on Wednesday after pleading guilty to one count of forced lewd acts on a child and two counts of forcible rape. As part of a plea deal, he will be formally sentenced to 22 years in state prison next month. Three children have been rescued from a home in Tennessee after being found locked in bedrooms with portable toilets. The two girls, aged 12 and 17, and a 14-year-old boy were only allowed to leave to go to school, the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office reported on Friday. The children had been held this way for six months in order to ‘discipline them’.  The girls were locked in a room with the windows screwed shut and a portable toilet at the home in Covington. The University of Missouri has been accused of ignoring the alleged rape of a star swimmer by at least one member of its football team – and the student later committed suicide. According to a 16-month long investigation by ESPN’s ‘Outside the Lines,’ staff at the school first learned about the alleged February 2010 incident after Canadian-born Sasha Menu Courey recounted her harrowing experience to a rape crisis counselor during an online chat conversation and a campus therapist in December that year. The Port Huron Police department is looking for a suspect who allegedly sexually abused a girl over the course of several years. Lt. Duane Loxton said the allegations were reported in July and officers have been investigating Donald Francis McLeod since. A Canberra serial child molester has been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in jail for the public rape of a three-year-old girl and the racially motivated bashing of his neighbor. In September 2013, Shane Williams, 40, from Campbell was making his way to a police station for his annual sex offender check-in when he decided to stop at the Belconnen Library to use the toilets. He was browsing the books inside when a three-year-old girl wandered over to him and said hello. Williams encouraged her to sit on the floor with him and removed both her pants and his own trousers, before sexually assaulting her. A woman convicted of child abuse is now free from jail. She served less than a year of her sentence.  A judge made the decision this morning. Our FOX23 crew talked to the father of one of the victims in the case. The woman was sentenced to 15 years in the Department of Corrections, but according to court documents, Meredith Howard is now out after only serving 10 months. It’s a story FOX23 has been following since 2010. Meredith Howard was convicted of two counts of child abuse. “One of the counts involved her breaking the femur bone of a 9-month-old baby,” said Tulsa County district attorney Sarah McAmis. The other was an assault on a 19-month-old. “The baby required immediate surgery and literally almost died on the way to the hospital,” said McAmis. Children were forced to eat their own vomit and put soiled bed sheets on their heads as punishment at care homes run by nuns, the largest public inquiry into institutional child abuse was told. The investigation into the behavior of Catholic nuns from the Sisters of Nazareth children’s homes in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, heard children were also forced to bathe in disinfectant and were beaten for wetting the bed. In a harsh regime where the youngsters were known by numbers rather than their names, many were subjected to humiliation, threats and physical abuse, counsel to the Historical Institutional Abuse Inquiry, Christine Smith QC said. Suicide note revealed how childhood molestation drew him to vile images

The suicide note left by a former Senate chief of staff who killed himself after being charged with child porn posession has been revealed and makes allegations about his own history of sexual abuse. Jesse Ryan Loskarn’s body was found on Thursday in his family’s Maryland home where he was ordered to stay while out on bail before his trial for the child pornography charges.  His mother typed up the note and posted it on a dedicated website in its entirety on Monday night.  Loskarn, 35, wrote of ‘my deepest, darkest secret’ and told how he was abused between the ages of five and nine years old.  He went on to explain that because of said abuse, he ‘saw’ himself in the pictures of the children being sexually abused in the pornography. MORGANTOWN — A West Virginia teenager pleaded guilty to a first-degree murder charge Friday in the stabbing death of her one-time best friend. Shelia Eddy entered into a plea agreement Friday in Monongalia County Circuit Court in the July 2012 death of 16-year-old Skylar Neese. Eddy’s trial was scheduled to start next week. Under the agreement, prosecutors agreed to recommend mercy, meaning that the 18-year-old Morgantown woman would be eligible for parole after serving 15 years. PITTSBURGH — The FBI and federal prosecutors were reviewing allegations against a college student from Russia who has been charged with possessing bomb-making and marijuana-growing materials, though police acknowledge the suspect told them he wasn’t planning on “blowing anything up.” No federal charges had been filed against Vladislav Miftakhov by early Monday. The 18-year-old was arraigned Saturday on state court charges filed after Altoona police said they found bomb materials in his rented room near the Penn State-Altoona campus, about 85 miles east of Pittsburgh.
