STEUBENVILLE, OH — A former volunteer coach whose house was the scene of an underage drinking party before the 2012 rape of a girl by two high school football players plans to plead no contest to charges connected to the case, law enforcement officials said Monday. Defendant Matt Belardine is expected to plead no contest Tuesday to one count of making a false statement and one count of enabling underage drinking, said Dan Tierney, spokesman for Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine. STOCKTON – Police arrested Paul Teldeschi, 37, on suspicion of the child abuse of his 10-month-old foster daughter who is in a coma and not expected to survive. “I don’t believe it,” neighbor Kimberly Stewart said. “I don’t believe its true.” Kimberly and Chigger Stewart have lived across the street from the Teldeschis in the 200 block of East Cleveland Avenue for three years. In what police are calling an incident of road rage, a driver opened fire on the family car on Saturday night around 10:30pm. A 90-pound Kansas City man was so desperate for a child bride that he peed in bottles to avoid stopping on a marathon 18-hour drive to meet her. Christopher Lanning, 40, now faces a host of charges including traveling to meet a child for sex and transmitting obscene material to a minor. A pedophile was allowed to run a clinic offering treatments to young children for two months after a court found him guilty of his sickening crimes. Timothy Millender, 32, continued to work at Redwood Health Therapies, in Winchester, Hampshire, which offered hypnotherapy to youngsters under 16, despite being given a six month suspended sentence for hoarding vile images of babies being raped and tortured. Millender pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court to having 740 pictures and 106 videos of children as young as six months being abused. MUSKEGON, Michigan — Authorities say a Fruitport Township couple has been abusing their baby since he was born. The 5-month-old boy was taken to Helen DeVos Hildren’s Hospital with “life-threatening” head and spinal injuries, Muskegon County Assistant Prosecutor Tim Maat confirmed. Father Kevin Bastian, 25, was charged with felony first-degree child abuse. The baby’s mother Randee Bastian, 27, is accused of felony second-degree child abuse and misdemeanor lying to police. A Fayetteville man was arrested Wednesday after police say he raped a two-year-old girl and recorded it on a cell phone. Scott Sholds, 31, was arrested on suspicion of distributing, possession and viewing child pornography, computer exploitation of a child and felony rape or sexual intercourse. An autopsy should reveal if the child is Jeremiah Oliver, the Fitchburg 5-year-old missing for months before police learned of his disappearance and began looking for him. Police in Argentina have rescued a 15-year-old girl from a garage where she had allegedly been locked up with a monkey and a dog from the age of three. The teenager, who was said to have been fed the same as the animals by her captors, weighed just 3st 1lb when she was found.
