Mother charged in death of daughter, 22, with cerebral palsy who weighed just 40lbs

A malnourished young disabled woman who weighed only 40 pounds has died and her mother has been charged for having a role in her condition. Rebecca Cotten was 22-years-old and had been previously diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Her mother Jennifer Cotten, 40, now faces aggravated assault, abuse and neglect, and bail violation charges in connection with Rebecca’s death last Thursday.  Local Memphis station WREG reports that authorities had been previously alerted to the alleged abuse that the mother inflicted on her daughter when Jennifer was ordered to stay away from Rebecca after the young woman was found in a hot car. * A blue spiral-shaped triangle symbol, or “BLogo” “BoyLover”, symbolizes a boy (small triangle) surrounded by an older male (larger triangle)- and is meant to show adult/male child relationships.

* The butterfly CLogo a.k.a. “ChildLover” (commonly looks like four touching hearts) in pink/blue represents non-preferential gender pedophiles (girl or boy attracted, often both).

* The yin-yang looking circle is CGlogo, used in reference to the website, Common Ground, which was created as a place for both girl and boy attracted pedophiles to meet and sympathize with each other.

* The pink/blue triangles is “AmaroSymbol” is a variation of the CGLogo.

Pedobear is said to have originally begun as a way for young members of chan sites (4chan, 7chan, 12chan…) to call attention to pedophiles in their midst pretending to be kids to get their information. The pedophiles have since adopted Pedobear as their symbol of pride on the chan sites, claiming that the invention of the bear is a “loving gesture” toward them. READ MORE HERE

Mother was convicted of 26 charges of child abuse 14 years ago

Victoria Evans, who was brutally tortured by her adoptive mother for 20 years, has spoken of her fears about her abuser’s release from prison next month. Eunice Spry, 70, from Gloucestershire, will be let out of jail in July and could be rehoused just miles from the daughter she so cruelly abused. Victoria, also from Gloucestershire, today made her first ever television appearance on ITV’s This Morning. ‘I wish her no harm but I don’t want to ever see her again,’ she said. ‘When I look into her eyes I see so many horrific memories.’ READ MORE HERE

12-year-old girls had planned for several months to kill victim

WAUKESHA, WI — Police say two 12-year-old girls lured a friend into some woods in southeastern Wisconsin where one of them held her down as the other stabbed her 19 times. The 12-year-old victim survived the attack on Saturday in Waukesha and police say her condition is stable. Authorities say the suspects had planned to kill the victim for several months. Staind’s Aaron Lewis stopped mid-song to berate concertgoers for an alleged assault on a crowdsurfer.

Staind was performing at a festival in Kansas when their frontman spotted a young girl crowdsurfing. Disturbingly, Lewis allegedly saw members of the crowd molest her while she was held aloft.

Preventing, detecting child abuse is everybody’s responsibility

We as parents are the only ones who can stand between our children and any type of abuse.  Three types of child abuse occur on a regular basis, and all three types can occur anywhere, in any family, no matter their outward appearances, or wealth.  Most abuse is perpetrated by someone close to the child; however, this is not limited to the immediate family.  Abusers can include babysitters, neighbors, and even, teachers and church leaders.  We’ve all heard the stories, and we don’t want to believe that anyone we know would do such a thing, but it happens.  Emotional abuse, neglect, and physical abuse are all types of abuse that affect our society, and, as much as we would like to believe otherwise, it can affect our children even if they don’t experience it in the home.  It also affects our children’s friends much more often than we’d like to think. Muncie child abuse case reveals horrific details of girl’s 80 scars, burns and bruises

MUNCIE – When interrogated by police last summer, Charlene Tabb maintained she knew nothing about the many scars, burns and bruises that covered her 5-year-old cousin’s body. The 30-year-old Muncie woman is on trial for murder, charged with causing the death of young Marie Pierre, who prosecutors allege suffered through months of abuse and torture before being found dead on Tabb‘s dining room floor on June 22, 2013.

Malaysian police have detained 13 men and are looking for other suspects following allegations that a 15-year-old girl was raped by 38 men in the country’s northern region. Astro Awani television and The Star newspaper reported that the assault took place in the northern state of Kelantan on May 20, when the girl was lured to an empty hut reported to be a local drug haunt. The men took turns to rape her for hours. Police are also investigating whether her 17-year-old friend was also raped. Media accounts, quoting information from district police chief Azham Otham, said 38 men were involved. READ MORE HERE
