David Mohney shot his three children and then himself in a tragic murder-suicide in Florida

A stay-at-home dad in Florida who shot dead two of his children and wounded a third before killing himself was in the midst of a nasty divorce from his wife and had asked a judge for a protective order claiming she was the violent one. David Mohney claimed his wife Cynthia was a violent, abusive alcoholic in court papers filed just two months before he gunned down his children Friday in their quiet, middle-class neighborhood just south of Daytona Beach.  He wanted to leave his wife and take the family back to his hometown in South Dakota, police say.  READ MORE HERE

Human remains were found Saturday on an abandoned property during the search for University of Virginia student Hannah Graham, who has been missing for more than a month, authorities said. The remains were found around noon near Old Lynchburg Road in Albemarle County, said Charlottesville Police Chief Timothy Longo. The area is less than 10 miles from where Graham, 18, was last seen. Longo said he “made a very difficult phone call” to Graham’s parents to share the discovery with them, but forensic tests need to be conducted to determine the identity of the remains. WANTED by FBI: JORGE ALBERTO MARTINEZ, JR.

Jorge Alberto Martinez, Jr. is wanted in Sacramento County, California, for allegedly engaging in multiple sex acts with a 13-year-old girl. Martinez was arrested for this crime and was found to be in possession of illicit photographs of the victim and a loaded handgun. Prior to his trial, Martinez fled Sacramento County. In August of 2006, he was charged in the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento, with lewd and lascivious act with a child under 14 years of age, oral copulation with a child under 14 years of age, photographing a minor during a sex act, and possession of a concealed firearm. On July 11, 2007, Martinez was charged in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, Sacramento, California, with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Little Girl Abducted After Wedding, Body Found

Yangzhou Jiangdu county 7-year-old girl Wang Yanwen went missing after attending a relative’s wedding in Taizhou city Jiangyan district Huagang town on October 3rd. On the evening of the 6th, Taizhou police announced to the public that they’ve found the body of the missing girl Wang Yanwen on a riverbank in Jiangyan district Huagang town, confirming that she had been killed. CONWAY – A Beaver County woman is facing charges after allegedly pulling her 6-year-old daughter’s hair so hard that she caused internal bleeding. According to police, Brittany Ruck, 25, of Conway, is charged in the Aug. 31 incident. The criminal complaint states the girl’s scalp was separated from her skull as a result of Ruck pulling on her hair. “The head injury was described in medical terms as traction,” said Michael Priolo, of the Conway Police Department. “It is a separation between the scalp and skull which creates a void that fills with blood. Family of 3-year-old killed over Facebook feud ‘in disbelief’

DETROIT, Michigan –More details are being released about the shooting which killed 3-year-old Amiracle Williams and wounded four others on  Detroit’s east side Thursday. Police arrested the suspected shooter, a 23-year-old man wanted in Virginia early Friday morning. Investigators have also arrested the 22-year-old man believed to have driven the getaway van. Both have ties to local gangs, according to police. Four suspects were arrested in total, including two others who have since been released. One of the shooting victims, Amiracle’s father Demetrious, 47, was listed in critical condition last night at a local hospital. Fox 2 was told he is awake and alert.  Also shot was Amiracle’s mother Frieda Tiggs, 40, who is expected to be released tonight. READ MORE HERE

A teenage boy is in a critical condition after he was gang raped at a party by a group of men. The 15-year-old was attacked in Kentucky in a horrendous assault that was also filmed using a mobile phone. A British man believed to have knowledge of missing Madeleine McCann reportedly fled NSW after being convicted of child sex offences in the late 1990s. British media is reporting that 76-year-old Roderick McDonald will be questioned by UK police about a possible pedophile ring linked to the three-year-old’s disappearance in Portugal more than seven years ago. McDonald, known as Roderick William Robinson while in Australia, has previously been convicted of a number of sex offences, and received a six-month sentence for the sexual assault of a nine-year-old girl in Sydney in 1998-1999. Police in Houston have charged two men for the brutal murder of 14-year-old Jose Meraz, who was slashed to death with a machete. The boy’s mutilated body was discovered in a heavily wooded area near the Addicks Reservoir by a dog walker.  A third suspect, a 14-year-old male is being referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation Department authorities on a murder charge.
