WAFF said Matthew Ayers, 42, and Patricia Ayers, 34, are both responsible for the sexual abuse of a child in their custody and take pictures of the behavior to manufacture the child porn. U.S. District Judge L. Scott Coogler said, “I have been on the bench since 1998, and this is the worst case I have personally dealt with, including murders. HIV positive sex offender ‘raped a teen, 14, and two-year-old infecting them both’

A registered sex offender is charged with sexual assault and super-aggravated sexual assault of a child after raping a teen and a toddler, infecting them both with HIV, police say. David R. Wilson, 33, is accused of raping a 14-year-old girl and a two-year-old girl and infecting them with various sexually transmitted diseases including HIV, herpes, and chlamydia. The enhanced charge of super-aggravated sexual assault of a child is due to the age of the younger victim, who was just 23 months old at the time of the alleged abuse. READ MORE HERE

Remains belong to missing University of Virginia student

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia – Remains found nearly a week ago in a rural area of Virginia are those of a university student who disappeared last month, authorities said Friday, ending a search by thousands that took weeks and left the campus and community on edge. University of Virginia sophomore Hannah Graham, 18, disappeared Sept. 13 after a night out with friends. The remains were found Oct. 18 about 12 miles from the Charlottesville campus, in a heavily wooded area of Albemarle County that is home to rolling hills and horse farms. READ MORE HERE

2 dead, including gunman, 3 injured in Washington school shooting

MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON — Two students are dead and four more are injured after a school shooting in Washington state. Gunman Jaylen Fryberg is dead, police have confirmed. He committed suicide after opening fire inside the cafeteria around 10:45 a.m. at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. He is believed to be the only suspect in the shooting and used a Beretta .40-caliber handgun, federal law enforcement said. GLENDALE, Arizona – A 29-year-old man is accused of child abuse after the death of a 2-year-old boy in Glendale. The case began in January when Glendale police and fire personnel responded to a call of an unresponsive child at an apartment complex near 51st and Northern avenues. The child was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A doctor who examined the child noted several areas of bruising, according to court documents. READ MORE HERE

ATLANTA, GA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said that 18 people were arrested on Wednesday in a child pornography bust. GBI officials said that the investigation began in July and focused on people sharing child pornography on the Internet. Okaloosa County, Florida –The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office today arrested two Walton County residents in connection with an investigation into the abuse and neglect of a three year old developmentally disabled child who is unable to walk or verbally communicate. 31-year old Andrew Dwyer in Miramar Beach is charged with two counts of child abuse. One of the most destructive problems affecting children in “Indian country” today is sexual abuse. Increasing reports of child sexual abuse and the severe impact this type of crime has on Indian youth and their families have prompted tribal leaders to voice great concern about the impact of this crime on Indian communities. Congress, acting in response to concerns expressed by tribal leaders and pursuant to its responsibility as guardian and trustee for Indian tribes, has enacted new laws in the past fifteen years to address child sexual abuse in Indian country. But federal legislative efforts cannot hope to defeat child sexual abuse in Indian country. An Alabama couple who appeared on the “Maury” TV show last year now faces charges surrounding the alleged sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl. David Anthony Williams, 21, was arrested on Oct. 3 and accused of first-degree rape and sodomy involving the daughter of Brittany Day. Williams allegedly attacked the young girl in June. UPDATE: The Canadian Press reports that Andrea Giesbrecht, 40, was arrested and charged with concealing the bodies. Police say the babies may have been newborns. There are no homicide charges planned at the moment.

Police in Winnipeg, Canada say that the bodies of several infants were found in a U-Haul storage locker on Monday night. CBC News first reported the “gruesome scene,” where six bodies were discovered in various states of decomposition. An employee at the facility originally called police after the remains caught his or her attention.
