Investigations documented 572 additional separate incidents involving Stuckless

Gordon Stuckless, one of the most notorious pedophiles in Canada, has pleaded guilty to 100 more charges of abusing young boys as part of the infamous Maple Leaf Gardens sex ring. Stuckless, now 65, was in a Toronto courtroom Tuesday to answer to 108 charges involving 18 victims over a span of 20 years between 1965 and 1985. He admitted to most of them, including indecent assault, sexual assault and gross indecency, but pleaded not guilty to several charges, including sexual assault with a weapon and the rare count of buggery, The Canadian Press reported. HARTFORD, CT – Police in Hartford said a 2-month-old who was in critical condition after an incident on April 15 has died. Adore Marie Daniels died Tuesday shortly after 4 a.m., according to Lt. FBI agents from Houston are spearheading an international probe to determine how many students at elite private schools in nine countries fell victim to a teacher who authorities contend was a serial predator for more than four decades. The local agents went public with their investigation Tuesday, saying they may never know how many victims William James Vahey exploited during a global career that began in 1972 after he stopped registering for a molestation conviction in California. A thumb drive holds photos that show he had at least 90 victims since 2008 alone, according to the Houston FBI agents who are leading the ongoing global probe to find his victims as well as determine the extent of his crime. New State Laws Require More Sex-Abuse Training in Schools

An Illinois woman has turned the lessons she learned in her recovery from her own childhood sexual abuse into a nationwide push to pass state laws that require student lessons and teacher training about the issue in public schools. Starting in her home state in 2011, Erin Merryn has successfully pushed for passage of a so-called “Erin’s Law” in 10 states, and she expects that number to grow as 26 have considered or are considering similar bills in their 2013 and 2014 legislative sessions. The bills, which vary state by state, generally require age-appropriate instruction for children as young as prekindergarten on preventing, recognizing, and reporting sexual abuse. Tulsa Police Seek Most Wanted For Child Abuse

TULSA, Oklahoma -Tulsa Police are looking for two suspected child abusers at the top of their most wanted list. Police say Rosa Taylor and Tony Davis are both wanted on felony warrants with two counts for child abuse. The 35-year-old Taylor is described as a black female with brown eyes and black hair. Coroner: Baby, 17 months, killed in child abuse incident

CHARLESTON, S.C. — A North Charleston man is facing homicide by child abuse charges after police were called to MUSC’s Children’s Hospital last week. According to police, 46-year-old Eugene Anthony Wright, of Dorchester Road, was charged in the case. Police say they were called to the children’s hospital when nurses who filed a child abuse complaint after a 17-month-old girl was taken to the hospital by EMS. The alleged hysterics of a bath salts user during a Sullivan County fishing trip — including holding a juvenile in the woods for hours under the direction of “Jesus” and removing his own pants at a convenience store to stab non-existent mice and spiders — have prompted charges of child abuse and neglect. Timothy Greenwood, 43, address provided as 626 Morrell Creek Lane, Bluff City, was arrested early Friday morning by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office. An incident report states a deputy was called to a disturbance at a home off Hickory Tree Road, finding Greenwood running through a yard in only his shirt and underwear. CHICAGO — A former resident of Des Plaines, Ill., was sentenced to 50 years in federal prison for sexually molesting children between 2 and 11 years old to produce child pornography. This sentence was announced by Zachary T. Hartwig, special agent in charge of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Chicago. Bobby Cruz, 34, pleaded guilty in September to one count of interstate travel to engage in sex with a minor and two counts of producing child pornography. This plea agreement resolved separate federal cases that were brought in both the Northern and Central districts of Illinois. He has remained in federal custody since his arrest in November 2011. STOCKTON – Police arrested Paul Teldeschi, 37, on suspicion of the child abuse of his 10-month-old foster daughter who is in a coma and not expected to survive. “I don’t believe it,” neighbor Kimberly Stewart said. “I don’t believe its true.” Kimberly and Chigger Stewart have lived across the street from the Teldeschis in the 200 block of East Cleveland Avenue for three years.
