Two Tulsa women were convicted Thursday of the child-abuse murder and neglect of a 19-month-old boy. Jazmin Williams and Mica Shoate, both 24, were charged in the March 2012 beating death of Zamontay Green. Naked Oklahoma man arrested, lewd acts in front yard with boy

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have arrested a 68-year-old Oklahoma City man accused of going to his mailbox naked and other disturbing acts in his front yard.  Officials said a mother driving her children to piano lessons first called police to report the naked man in a front yard on the 8300 block of N.W. 112th Terr. near N. Council Rd. and W. Hefner Rd. The mother told police her 6-year-old daughter, 10-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son all saw the alleged nude man and were the ones who brought him to her attention. Twitter troll posing as killer, Jon Venables, is harassing James Bulger’s mother

The mother of James Bulger has been abused on Twitter by someone posing as her child’s killer Jon Venables. Detectives on Merseyside are investigating after an account was set up to crow to Denise Fergus about her toddler’s brutal murder in 1993. Using the name @SirJVenables the troll also wrote vile messages about harboring a desire to kill more children, but has since been suspended by Twitter after an online campaign. The offensive account used the chilling CCTV image of James Bulger being led to his death by Venables and friend Robert Thompson, who were were jailed for eight years for sadistically killing the two-year-old when they were 10. Sex abuse victim targeted by her stepfather from the age of 9 reveals how her mother refuses to believe her despite him being convicted

A sex abuse victim has revealed how her pedophile stepfather abused her from the age of nine and her mother still does not believe she was indecently assaulted. Jemma Sanders, 28, suffered at the hands of Christopher Gibson for six years and has waived her right to anonymity so she can help fight child abuse. Gibson was convicted of ten charges of indecent assault earlier this month and jailed for eight years but Miss Sanders’ estranged mother Debbie has refused to accept his guilt. The pregnant South Carolina mother who drove a minivan containing her three children into the ocean in Florida has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, investigators said Friday. The woman, identified as 32-year-old Ebony Wilkerson, from Cross, South Carolina, was booked into Volusia County Jail after undergoing a mental evaluation in a hospital Thursday. Her children are currently in state custody. Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson announced this afternoon that Wilkerson is facing three counts of first-degree attempted murder and three counts of aggravated child abuse involving great injury. Country singer, Jimmy Wayne, is on mission against child abuse

The problem of child neglect and abuse is personal for country singer Jimmy Wayne. His mother was in and out of prison, so from age 8, Wayne was in and out of North Carolina’s foster-care system. When he was 13, his mom and her fifth husband abandoned him in a Pensacola, Fla., parking lot. At age 16, he was a homeless high school dropout. An elderly couple took him in — saved him, he says — and he survived. Man Sentenced To 60-Years For Child Sex Abuse

GRAND PRAIRIE – A 49-year-old Grand Prairie man was sentenced to 60 years in prison without parole for repeatedly sexually abusing a young relative. Jurors deliberated just 10 minutes on Wednesday before convicting Timothy Earl Wesley of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 — a charge that carries no possibility for parole. PALM BAY, Fla. —A Palm Bay High School teacher is accused of taking part in a child abuse case that involved forcing a young girl to undress in front of adult men while they forced her to consume alcohol. According to police, Jason John Burchfield would visit a house in Satellite Beach where a girl, who is under the age of 14, was forced to undress in front of men and drink alcohol, including vodka, on at least three separate occasions. A mother suffering from post-natal depression drowned her baby then dumped the body in a factory car park behind her home, a court heard today. Amy Black, 40, snapped after a sleepless night with seven-month-old daughter Zoe, who had been crying constantly because of ear pain.  Nottingham Crown Court was shown CCTV of Black climbing a makeshift ladder and tipping the baby’s body over an eight foot fence and into undergrowth. The remains of Roman Barreras were found in blue plastic toy box on Tuesday

The skeletal remains of a 3-year-old boy were found in Tucson on Tuesday and now his mother has been charged with starving him to death and stashing him in a trunk while his father did nothing to stop her. Raquel Barreras, 39, and her husband Martin Barreras, 45, had been evicted from their triplex unit and the landlords were there cleaning up the squalid mess they left behind. When they came across a 3×3 plastic toy box, they made the chilling discovery and court documents revealed Thursday that little Roman Barreras’ final weeks may have been agonizing. DUNDALK, Md.- Caitlyn Virts is 11 years old, and police believe she is currently in the custody of her biological father, Timothy Virts. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall and 280 pounds. They are reportedly in a 1999 black Dodge Durango with Maryland tags: 5AJ4458.  According to police, finding them may be a matter of life and death. “We know he is not supposed to have this child, so we have good reason to be concerned about her safety,” says Elise Armacost, spokesperson for the Baltimore County Police. Custody issues may be the least of their concerns, however, as police found Caitlyn’s mother, 36-year-old Bobbie Joe Cortez dead in the family home in Dundalk at about 9 a.m. on Thursday morning. , She was murdered, but officers won’t confirm exactly how. Man gets 210 years in overseas molestations

In 2008, several scared and hesitant young Cambodian girls stood before U.S. District Judge Dale Fischer to tell her what Michael Joseph Pepe had done to them. “Please don’t allow this to happen again,” one pleaded in a barely audible voice. “Thank you that you helped me find justice,” another told her. Six years and a lengthy legal battle later, Fischer finally handed down a sentence Friday for the onetime U.S. Marine captain, convicted of sex acts with young girls in Cambodia: 210 years in prison, the statutory maximum, effectively a life sentence. Nebraska family in fear after teen beauty queen disappears

Authorities are searching for a teenage beauty queen who vanished at at 8:37 p.m. Sunday (03/02/2014) without a trace after she took out the trash at her Bellevue, Nebraska home. Michaela Wells, 16, had just spent the day shopping with her mother for the gown she’d wear in the upcoming USA National Pageant in Florida. “She couldn’t be happier,” Theresa Norris, her mother, told FoxNews.com. “Shecouldn’t get a smile off her face because she was also asked out [on a date].”

Norris explained that her daughter was planning to attend a high school “military ball” for students involved with the junior ROTC program. Wells told her grandmother, who was visiting at the time, that she was going to take out the trash from her Bellevue, Neb., home. “It usually takes her 10 minutes,” she said.

Time passed at the family began to panic. The teen’s dad drove through the neighborhood and the mom called friends. It was late Sunday night and the girl was last seen at about 8:30 p.m. Norris said her daughter was not dressed for the weather and even left her cell phone inside the house. “Her friends are in shock as some of them had just talked to her the afternoon before she vanished to make plans for the week,” Norris said in a Facebook post.

A police spokeswoman said the teen was entered in the database as a missing juvenile, the newspaper reported. Bellevue police do not believe that a pageant winner who was reported missing Monday was taken against her will, but the girl’s parents do.

Wells is home schooled and has a USA National Miss Pageant scheduled for June. According to a Nebraska State fair biography, the teen has used her crown to promote awareness of her younger brother’s disease called Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome. Wells, the 2013 winner of the USA National Miss Nebraska Teen competition, is about 5’6” tall, weighs 120 pounds, has long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last wearing blue jeans, black slip on pumps, black tank top with teal overshirt and a red floor length coat with fur around the hood..

MICHIGAN – A 51-year-old man was sentenced Monday in connection to the operation of a sex trafficking ring in Southfield and surrounding areas. James Coleman of Detroit was sentenced to serve 14 to 40 years in prison. He was convicted after an investigation conducted by the Southfield Police Department, Michigan State Police and the FBI through the Southeast Michigan Crimes Against Children Task Force (SEMCAC).  READ MORE HERE
