Teen charged in videotaped beating

CHESTER, PA – October 15, 2013 — Action News has learned that one student has been charged in connection with a videotaped beating on a Delaware County school van. No further details have been released about that teen. The NYPD cracked the murder case of ‘Baby Hope’ after 22-years when an anonymous tipster who overheard a conversation in a laundromat led police to the sister of the four-year-old girl – and eventually, Conrado Juarez, who has confessed to killing the child. Following a media blitz over the summer as the NYPD marked the 22nd anniversary of her death, a Manhattan mom phoned police to say that two years ago she listened in as a lady said her little sister had died and may have been killed. Thousands of images are published on sites after being stolen from Facebook and other social networks

Tens of thousands of explicit self-portraits taken by teenagers are ending up on websites viewed by pedophiles. The naked or sexual pictures are often taken by girls at the request of boys in their classes and sent by mobile phone, in a practice known as ‘sexting’. But unbeknownst to the girls, these photographs may end up being passed around the school and even shared on social networking sites such as Facebook – then stolen and published on websites used by pedophiles. An earlier investigation found boys and girls as young as 13 are routinely swapping naked self-portraits. Health fears have been raised for thousands of boys who made contact with a prolific paedophile with HIV who groomed his victims online. Anthony Marsh, who has the virus, and Lee Davis used social networks such as Facebook and Bebo, as well as specialist gay websites, to befriend boys before sexually abusing them, South Yorkshire Police said. The pair have admitted a total of 55 sex offences against 10 boys.  After grooming the boys online, salesman Marsh, and unemployed Davis would meet their victims and sexually abuse them. Janice Rene Anthony, 20, was sentenced to 35 years in prison on Friday in Fort Worth, TX for killing her 3-year-old daughter. She pleaded guilty to choking and killing 3-year-old Paris Howard over the child’s potty training issues. On Sept 6, 2012 police arrived at the family’s home at the 5400 block of Enclave Circle to find Paris dead on the floor. Anthony told the police that the child had fallen down some stairs but evidence later revealed that Anthony was physically abusive towards her daughter. FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s office has arrested a former Fayetteville middle school principal. David Ellis Edwards, 49, of Tobago Place is charged with two counts of second-degree forcible sex offense, two counts of sexual acts with a student, and five counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor. One of Jamie Bulger’s killers was rehoused to a bail hostel just a few yards from a children’s play ground, it has been claimed. Jon Venables, 31, was released from prison in August this year with a fourth new identity after being hauled back to prison in 2010 for possessing child porn. But now it’s been claimed that authorities housed him in a bail hostel somewhere in the north of England, a short distance from a playground, to prepare him for life in the community. The revelation provoked fury from Jamie Bulger’s father. Parents Plead Not Guilty In Heroin Baby Bottle Case

QUINCY, Mass. — A couple accused of killing their 5-month-old daughter by giving her a bottle of formula with heroin in it were charged with manslaughter on Friday. Ryan Barry and Ashley Cyr, both of Quincy, just south of Boston, were arrested Friday. Teen’s body has organs removed, stuffed with newspaper

The mysterious death of a Georgia teen has taken a bizarre twist with the revelation that an autopsy of his exhumed remains found his internal organs missing and his body stuffed with newspaper. The family of Kendrick Johnson, 17, of Valdosta, Ga., was “outraged” and “devastated” by the discovery and believes his death was a murder that is being covered up, a lawyer representing them said Thursday. Johnson, a three-sport athlete, was found dead on Jan. 11 in a rolled-up wrestling mat in his high school gym. The Child’s Mother’s Boyfriend Has Been Arrested

(CNN) — A 2-year-old boy who was reportedly the son of Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson died Friday of injuries he suffered after allegedly being abused, police said. Sioux Falls, South Dakota, police said Joseph Robert Patterson, 27, has been charged with aggravated battery of an infant and aggravated assault. If convicted on the charges, both felonies, Patterson could face up to 40 years in prison and an $80,000 fine. Prosecutors are considering filing additional charges against Patterson in light of the boy’s death, according to police. Double child killer Jeremy McLaughlin will be almost 60 by the time he can apply for parole again. The 35-year-old teetered on the “brink” of becoming the first New Zealand murderer to be jailed with no hope of parole today.
