Sisters kidnapped as toddlers 40 YEARS ago by their babysitter as they are finally reunited with their family

Farwell, MI – William Nokes, a 45-year-old Michigan man, was jailed Christmas day after he allegedly had sex with his adult biological daughter on at least three occasions. According to Michigan State Police, an investigation was launched last September when Nokes’ daughter filed a complaint alleging that she and her father had engaged in sexual intercourse while she was visiting him in Farwell over the 4th of July Holiday. APPLE VALLEY, CA — A woman has been arrested in the death of a toddler who police say was made to ingest chili powder as a punishment. Amanda Sorensen, 21, of Apple Valley, was detained early Monday morning on suspicion of child abuse resulting in death. MOTHER PROTECTED HER CHILDREN AGAINST INTRUDER

A mother of two turned to desperate measures to protect her children.  A 37-year-old mother from Loganville, GA, sprung into action after she saw Paul Slater, 32, attempting to enter her house with a crowbar. According to WSBTV, the mother, whose name was not released, grabbed her .38 revolver and took her 9-year-old twins to a crawl space in the attic. REDONDO BEACH, CA — Police have released a sketch and surveillance video in the stabbings of two teenagers inside the South Bay Galleria. The attacks happened near the mall’s AMC movie theaters on December 29 just before 7:30 p.m. Police describe the suspect as a black male between 40 and 50 years old. Florida mother hospitalized after killing her 6-mo son in murder-suicide bid she warned about on Facebook

A 20-year-old Florida woman is in a critical condition in hospital after turning a gun on herself moments after shooting dead her six-month-old baby. Melanie Reyes, of Ocola, is thought to have told a relative she was going to attempt the murder-suicide on Facebook, according to The Orlando Sentinel.  But when they alerted local police it was already too late. Megan Denman, 30, of Hoover, CA, was sentenced to six months in jail and three years probation after she pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. 200 Arrested in Child Porn Ring Bust ~ 100 Children Saved

WASHINGTON – More than 200 adults have been arrested in an international investigation of child pornography, Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Thursday. The agency’s director, John Morton, said 123 child victims were identified during the five-week investigation, which ended in early December.
