Washington – The U.S. Marshals Service has announced the addition of Edward Salas to its 15 Most Wanted fugitive list. A convicted child killer, Salas escaped from the Curry County Detention Center in Clovis, New Mexico, on August 28, 2008, and has been on the lam ever since. South Sulawesi Police are hunting down DN, a resident of Makassar, for allegedly having impregnated two of his stepdaughters. DN’s crime was revealed after the eldest daughter, IL, 16, gave birth, leaving her sister, NH, 14, who was by then seven months’ pregnant with her stepfather’s child. BROCKTON —Terry Jackson, 54, whose address is listed in court documents as 36 Montello St. Extension, Apt. 1, was indicted by a Plymouth County grand jury last week on 299 charges. They include 271 counts of aggravated rape of a child with force, 12 counts of posing or exhibiting a child in a state of nudity, witness intimidation and other sex offenses. JUNEAU, Alaska — A judge has dismissed child sex abuse charges against a Juneau man, ruling that a grand jury considered inadmissible evidence when it handed down a 100-count indictment. But Juneau Superior Court Judge Philip Pallenberg indivates there may still be enough admissible evidence to support an indictment of 37-year-old David Burger if the document is restructured. ORLANDO, FL — Former champion boxer Hector “Macho” Camacho is facing a felony count of child abuse and turned himself in to Florida authorities this week on a warrant filed late last year. The 49-year-old Camacho posted a $5,000 bond at the Orange County Jail in Orlando on Monday and was released. TUNKHANNOCK – A 42-year-old Taylor man will serve 50 to 100 years in prison for sexually abusing five children, several of whom spoke at the man’s sentencing hearing Tuesday. Vincent Clark’s oldest victim, a 15-year-old girl, began to cry while addressing the Wyoming County President Judge Russell Shurtleff at the hearing Tuesday, suggesting a death sentence would be appropriate. MODESTO, CA — James Hooker, the former Enochs High School teacher who made national headlines after leaving his wife and family for an 18-year-old student, has been arrested for alleged sex abuse of a minor. The tragic death of a girl diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy was due to severe neglect and malnutrition on the part of her mother and other caregivers. Denise Wilder, 37, arrested Wednesday for alledgedly killing her 2-year-old daughter McKinley Wilder could be facing child neglect and murder charges, if the autopsy report, that has yet to be done, shows foul play. According to The Sacramento Bee, family members reported Denise Wilder missing last Wednesday. BOWLING GREEN — A 2-year-old girl whose death in March was ruled a homicide Wednesday had signs on her body of previous abuse, authorities said. Emma Zehnpfennig, who lived in Bowling Green with her elder sister, mother, and mother’s boyfriend, died March 1 after spending seven days on life support at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Lucas County Deputy Coroner Dr. Diane Scala-Barnett said. An adviser to Britain’s police chiefs downloaded more than 100,000 images of child porn – including a guide on how to abuse infants. Among Nicholas White’s sickening collection were images of youngsters being forced into sex acts with animals. The 28-year-old was jailed for six months after he admitted 18 counts of making indecent images of children, two counts of possession of indecent images of children and two counts of possessing extreme pornography. LIVONIA, Mich. (WJBK) — A jilted boyfriend told by his girlfriend their relationship was over snaps with an axe and a gun. Sources close to the investigation describe a bloody scene inside a home on Sunnydale near Five Mile and Inkster Road in Livonia.
