Staff at the BBC were last night urged to come forward with information as a nationwide police inquiry was launched into Sir Jimmy Savile’s alleged reign of child abuse. It came as more women said they were raped or molested as girls by the ‘predatory’ BBC presenter. Stark County, Illinois – Kendra Meaker, a 19-year-old Illinois woman was jailed Thursday after she allegedly dumped her three-week old daughter in a ditch, drove off, waited 12 hours, then claimed her daughter had been kidnapped. According to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, Meaker reportedly walked into their office Thursday morning and told deputies that her daughter had been kidnapped out of her car while she was mailing a package at the post office. Deanna DeJesus Convicted For Failing To Protect Kids From Stabbing By Father

A Florida mother has been convicted of child neglect after prosecutors said she failed to protect her two sons as their father stabbed them during a hostage situation. Last week, Deanna DeJesus, 38, pleaded not guilty to charges of both child neglect and aggravated manslaughter in the February rampage that left one child dead and the other wounded. The attack occurred when DeJesus’ husband, William DeJesus, drove his family to a Deerfield RV park and forced them inside an RV at random before fatally shooting the RV’s 76-year-old owner.  READ MORE HERE

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 6-year-old girl at a library. The incident was reported at the San Bernardino County Library Needles Branch on Monday afternoon. GLENDALE, CA — A long-time tennis coach in Glendale is accused of molesting one of his students, and police want to know if there are more victims. 46-year-old Dale Kim, a married Northridge resident, faces 10 felony counts of committing lewd acts with a 15-year-old student — a girl from Granada Hills. He is also charged with seven felony counts of oral copulation of a minor, two felony counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and two felony counts of sexual penetration with a foreign object.  READ MORE HERE

Meningitis Outbreak May Affect More Than 23 States

The Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention and Food and Drug Administration announced today they are advising medical professionals not to use any products manufactured by the New England Compounding Center in Framingham, Mass., due to an outbreak of fungal meningitis tied to some medications made by the company. Three lots of the company’s preservative-free methylprednisolone acetate that go back to July 2012 have been recalled and are believed to be the cause of the recent outbreak. 19-year-old, Robert Weaver, raped a 13-year-old girl he met through Facebook. According to WSOCTV, Weaver picked the girl up at her home, took her back to his place and raped her, then returned her home. When she got home, a relative called the police to report the rape.  READ MORE HERE

The couple, referred to as John and Jane Doe in court documents, is suing Ball State’s Burris Laboratory School, after their son suffered repeated sexual abuse, molestation, and harassment from third grade classmates reenacting a pornographic movie they had allegedly seen on school computers. According to BSU Daily News, the Does said “complete lack of supervision and institutional controls” were the cause of their son’s abuse. Six years ago, Tian Xueming lost his oldest son to leukemia and decided to keep him close by storing his body in the family freezer. Tian Qinyuan was 18-years-old and had just begun college when he was struck down by the disease. Tragically, 6 years earlier, Xueming and his wife had lost their 15-year-old daughter to a heatstroke. In Montreal, Canada, Johra Kaleki was charged with attempted murder for repeatedly stabbing her then 19-year-old daughter, Bahar Ebrahimi, during an argument about Ebrahimi staying out too late at night. According to the Montreal Gazette, the defense wishes to dismiss Kaleki’s admission of guilt on the night of the attack because she was mentally distraught when she made the statements although Kaleki was informed of her right to remain silent.  READ MORE HERE

 In Greenbier, Florida, 14 year old Cassidy Goodison has been charged as an adult with first degree murder after strangling her newborn baby boy to death and hiding his corpse in a shoe box.
