In a landmark ruling, a California jury has awarded record $28million in damages to a woman who had accused the Jehovah’s Witnesses of allowing one of its adult members to molest her as a child.  Alameda County jurors awarded $7million in compensatory damages last Wednesday and another $21million in punitive damages the following day to 26-year-old Candace Conti, her attorney, Rick Simons, said.  READ MORE HERE

Disney employee among 38 arrested in Polk child sex sting

A fifth-grade teacher and youth soccer coach, a registered sex offender from Hernando County and a Disney employee are among 38 men charged as part of a sex sting operation involving minors in Polk County. PULASKI, TN — An 80-year old man was indicted Wednesday on 13 counts stemming from the sexual abuse of 5 members of the Giles County Amish community. SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A San Francisco couple is accused of allegedly tracking an alleged pimp across California before finally hunting him down and killing him. SAN ANTONIO — A Texas teacher will lose her job after ordering more than 20 kindergartners to line up and hit a classmate accused of being a bully, a district spokesman said Friday. ATLANTA –  A grand jury indicted an Atlanta father Thursday over the death of his four-month-old daughter, who died after allegedly being fed vodka mixed with baby formula. Barely holding back his sobs, a 13-year-old boy makes a heart-rending 911 call to the Grove City Police Department in Ohio. “My dad just killed my mom. He just told me to call you guys,” the boy is heard telling a 911 dispatcher. “He just ran outside and killed my mom. Police Release Photo of Mysterious “Forest Boy”

BERLIN, Germany — Police have released a photograph of the 17-year-old known only as “Ray” who turned up at Berlin City Hall last year after claiming to have been living in the woods for five years. The release of the photograph, along with details of his appearance and scant possessions at the time of his discovery, is part of an effort by German authorities to unravel the mystery of the boy’s identity. who speaks English and a little German and what is his family background.
