WASHINGTON – A child pornography suspect has been placed on the FBI‘s Ten Most Wanted Fugitive list to replace al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, who was killed by U.S. forces last year. Eric Justin Toth, 30, a former private school teacher, was indicted in 2008 in Maryland on one count related to producing child pornography, according to court records. PLATTE CITY, MO — A Platte County jury found a Platte City man guilty of child abuse and possession of child pornography following a week-long trial. After deliberation Friday, the jury recommended James Marquis, 44, spend up to 28 years in prison. “This defendant required a teenage girl to stand in the corner for approximately 10 hours a day for nearly a month. The jury correctly found that was cruel and inhuman punishment, for which he deserves a lengthy prison sentence,” Platte County Prosecuting Attorney Eric Zahnd said in a news release. READ MORE HERE

KING SENTENCED FOR 2010 RAPE, MURDER & CHILD ABUSE CHARGE
On the day Renee King was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the 2010 sexual assault and murder of her stepdaughter, the 2-year-old girl’s mother finally got to confront her. Reading from a prepared statement today in Macomb County Circuit Court, Lauren Furneaux told King, who was shackled and wore a blue jail jumper, of the pain she had caused and said she was glad that King would miss the milestones in the lives of King’s three children that Furneaux would miss because of Lily Furneaux-Wolfenbarger’s death. Man charged with strangling his girlfriend and little girl
A Knoxville man is charged with killing his girlfriend and their young daughter. According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Jorge Molina-Rivera, 28, of Lake Brook Lane, is facing two counts of first degree murder. He is being held on a $2 million dollar bond. Deputies responded to a home under construction on Rogers Island Lane in West Knox County on Sunday afternoon just before 3:30 pm. DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. —A screaming relative disrupted a DeKalb County courtroom when a judge revoked the bond for a martial arts instructor accused of child molestation and rape. Deputies escorted the sister of Adrian Spellen out of the courthouse as she wailed and screamed that the judge’s decision to revoke bond was unfair. Jack McCullough, 72, made the request as jury selection was to begin in his trial on charges of rape and indecent liberties with a child in the alleged abuse of a 14-year-old Sycamore, Ill., girl in the early 1960s. MONTREAL, CANADA – America’s Most Wanted child molester, who has been on the run for 10 years, was arrested in Montreal Tuesday when U.S. Marshal’s found that he bought a plane ticket back to Canada. Steven Dyer was arrested by the Canada Border Services Agency as he got off his plane from Venezuela, Deputy U.S. Marshal Frank Newsom said. Dyer was convicted on 13 counts of sexual conduct with a minor in Scottsdale, Ariz. in 2002, Newsom said. In January 2002, Dyer failed to appear to a court appearance and an arrest warrant was issued. In April 2002, a jury convicted Dyer in absentia on all counts, and he now faces up to 169 years in prison, pending his sentencing, Newsom said. READ MORE HERE
A 1-year-old believed to have been severely beaten in a home near DeLand is showing signs of improvement and is off life support, friends and family said Friday. Now, fundraisers to help pay medical bills and care for Isaiah Mitchell are being organized, said family friend Peggy Hayman. “Every day he seems to be getting better. It’s amazing,” Hayman said.
