ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio — Trust betrayed in a sacred environment — that’s what two families are dealing with Monday after their little boys were raped at a church conference. It was a statewide church convention in Ohio, sponsored by a local church in Albany at the town’s community center. But, what started out as a weekend of church fun, fellowship and family, ended in violence, deviance and innocence lost forever.

Reverend Caught Downloading Porn At Public Library

HERNANDO, MS – A Mid-South preacher facing child porn charges. Hernando Police say Eddie Prince downloaded porn on a public library computer. This may only be the beginning for Prince. Police say more charges are possible in Edward Prince’s case. They took computers from his home and church when they arrested him Friday night. Now, they’re investigating to see if any more child porn can be found.

ICAC/Task Force Arrest Man For Child Porn

Delaware—- A 20-year-old Milford man came under investigation for child pornography after a referral from the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to the Delaware Child Predator Task Force. Eric R. Aldrich has been charged with 27 counts of dealing in child pornography after search warrant was executed at his residence. Numerous images were found on multiple computers and other ditigal media. He is now being held in the Sussex Correctional Institute on a $270,000 secured bail.

Basketball Coach Pleads Guilty To Sexually Abusing Players

BOSTON, MA– Former Christ the King men’s basketball coach Bob Oliva finally admitted to accusations of molesting his players, pleading guilty Monday in a Boston courtroom. Oliva will receive five years of probation after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a then fourteen-year-old player, James Carlino, in Boston during the summer of 1976.

A new L.A. County report outlines the distressing statistics: About 200 children die each year, victims of accidents, natural causes or, too often, suicide or murder.

A new L.A. County report on the deaths of children who come into contact with its foster care system is, in one sense, depressingly unsurprising. It highlights with startling precision the short, brutal lives that so many of this county’s young people endure. Year after year, tens of thousands of children fall under the scrutiny of the Department of Children and Family Services — some glancingly or peripherally, others in more sustained ways — and 200 or so of those children die annually, victims of accidents, natural causes or, too often, suicide or murder.

Grandmother Kills 8-YO Boy In Murder-Suicide

UT Medical Center has confirmed to 10 News that Mary Baker, the grandmother of eight-year-old Dylan Akers, died Sunday. Baker is accused of killing Akers in a murder-suicide Saturday night at convenience store in North Knoxville. A store worker found the eight-year-old Akers shot and killed inside the Kenjo Market bathroom Saturday night.  Baker was also in the bathroom with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but was still alive when emergency crews arrived and transported her to UT Medical Center.

68-YO Man Charged With Child Rape

Baldwinsville – A Baldwinsville man is facing rape and other charges after having intercourse and sexual contact with a minor on multiple occasions, according to State Police. Robert Hogan, 68, of Legacy Drive is charged with first degree rape, sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child.

FL “Most Wanted Fugitive” Arrested In Lexington, MI

LEXINGTON, MI- -The U.S. Marshal’s Service on Saturday arrested a man wanted in Lee County for violating his probation on charges of child abuse. Eric Harder, one of Southwest Florida’s “Most Wanted” fugitives, was arrested at a bar in Lexington, Michigan. He had reportedly been on the run in Lee County since 2006 for violating his probation. Investigators say in 2004 he beat two young children he was taking care of.

Man Broke 3 Bones In 11-YO Girl’s Foot

Former Band Teacher Pleads Guilty To Child Indecency

WINNSBORO (KYTX) – Former Winnsboro band director Paul Bramlett, plead guilty Friday in Franklin County to sexual assault of a child and child indecency charges. Bramlett was sentenced to 30 days in jail and two 10 year probated sentences.

Man Allegedly Raped 2-YO, Gave Her Genital Warts

Marshfield, Mo. – Marlin Dallas Lane, a 29-year-old Missouri man was jailed Friday after he allegedly raped a 2-year-old girl who was later diagnosed with genital warts. According to the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, Lane raped a toddler 18 months ago, which may have gone unreported if the child had she not contracted the sexually transmitted disease, genital warts.

Mother Let Toddler Play With Loaded Glock Pistol

Phoenix, Arizona – Wendy Fuentes, a 20-year-old Arizona woman was jailed after she allegedly allowed her toddler daughter to play with a loaded gun as the incident was video recorded. According to police, officers were investigating an area shooting when they received permission to search a vehicle that contained a camera inside.

Man Shook & Threw Baby

Florida–An 18-year-old Port Richie man has been arrested and charged with 1st-degree aggravated child abuse of a 8-month-old girl. Richard M. Amabile first told doctors and police that the infant accidentally fell off of a table and hit her head. After confronted with inconsistencies in his story, he broke down and admitted to shaking and throwing the baby when she wouldn’t stop crying.
