Her two teenage daughters rarely ventured beyond it without letting their mother know where they were going and when they’d return home. When Rodriguez heard that both daughters — Joanna Arrisola, 14, and Felicia Martinez, 17 — had climbed into a plum-colored Pontiac and disappeared down the road with two men Saturday evening, she suspected something was terribly wrong. They’ve been missing ever since.

Police are searching for a missing woman and her two children after officers in an Upstate county say–they disappeared. Concerned family is looking for Sarah Justice and her children, one and two years old. Police believe they may be with their father, Cornelius Farr of Spartanburg, who officers are calling a “person of interest”. The family has been missing for a week. Police say they were last seen walking with the father of the children on main street in Union. Just a few steps from Justice’s downtown apartment.

HARTFORD — — Police are looking for a man who they believe raped a 14-year-old family member in the fall of 2009 and is evading arrest. Police say that Jason Negron, aka “Drops,” 30, of Hartford is addicted to crack cocaine and heroin and knows that police have an active felony warrant for his arrest. Negron is 5-feet-10, 175 pounds and has noticeable teardrops tattooed on his left check, near the corner of his left eye. Police say that he frequents the Frog Hollow, Barry Square and Bellevue Square neighborhoods to buy drugs, but that he may be in New York, where he has family members. Negron has suicidal ideations and a history of firearms and drug arrests, according to police. Extreme caution should be taken by anyone coming into contact with him.

Police ask anyone with information about Negron’s whereabouts to call 860-757-4342.

EVANSVILLE, IN – I’m itching to start watching a movie so this may the last story from me to day and it is pretty sickening. Timothy D. Montgomery, 52, has been accused of not only molesting a 7-year-old little girl on multiple occasions, he also gave her an STD in the process. After it was discovered that the girl had contracted genital herpes she was taken to Holly’s House, a shelter where victims of intimate sex crimes are interviewed by authorities. She told police Montgomery had touched her inappropriately and had her touch him in the same manner.

MATTHEWS, NC – Here’s a story out of North Carolina that will probably drive Athena insane. A couple were arrested and charged with drug possession after their 11-year-old took a couple of their joints to school and turned them in. Matthews Police say the kid snitched on his parents after a lesson about marijuana was delivered by a police officer in the D.A.R.E. program. Both the 40-year-old father and 38-year-old mother were arrested, charged with two misdemeanor counts each of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police Have New Questions for JonBenet Ramsey’s Brother

JonBenet Ramsey was killed nearly 14 years ago.

Police in Boulder, Colorado, want to talk to the older brother of JonBenet Ramsey, the 6-year-old girl slain at home on Christmas night 14 years ago, the Ramsey family’s attorney said. Supporters of the family call it harassment. The brother, Burke Ramsey, has no interest in once again answering questions he has answered for many investigators many times, said the attorney, Lin Wood, of Atlanta, Georgia. And yet the mere hint of activity in one of the nation’s most famous cold cases has headlines swirling.

So, what’s the story this time? Burke Ramsey was the 9-year-old brother of JonBenet who, by all accounts, slept soundly in his room that Christmas in 1996 while his sister’s skull was fractured and she was strangled elsewhere in the house.

HEMET — The suspect in the murder of a 17-year-old boy fatally shot the victim, then went out for hamburgers and gasoline before he came back and set his friend on fire, a witness said Friday. Jose Campos, 18, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 17-year old Adrian Rios. 18-year old Ivan Andres Ruiz admitted in court to helping Campos cover up the murder of Rios and escape authorities. He was charged as an accessory and sentenced to six months in jail. Campos’ 17-year-old girlfriend, Felicia Sharp, also is charged in the case. Police said Campos burned Rios’ body in a backyard bonfire and dismembered it with Sharp’s help.

3,500 people are trafficked into the U.S. through I-10 in El Paso each year. Half of them are children! Many of them are forced into labor and sex trafficking. Back in 2005, the Department of Justice gave a small task force a grant to combat sex trafficking here in the borderland. That grant has since dried up, but the task force is doing what they can with what little they have. “It is so difficult to find the victims,” said Virginia McCrimmon. She is the point of contact for the victims of human trafficking. “They are very much afraid, the threats that are used as a means of control,” she said.

David Salsbury, a former Milwaukee County corrections officer, was sentenced Friday to 44 years in prison and nearly 20 years of extended supervision. This, for his conviction on more than a dozen charges of sex crimes against children. Prosecutor Sara Lewis said, “…he (Salsbury) essentially abused and sexually assaulted four different children who were known to him.”

Medford police are investigating whether a sex offender arrested last week on suspicion of having sexual contact with two boys and recording it could have also abused other children. Richard Lee Taylor, 58, of the 700 block of Nobility Drive, was arrested Oct. 6 on numerous charges related to the sexual abuse of children. He was arraigned in Jackson County Circuit Court on Oct. 7 on three counts each of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, encouraging first-degree child sexual abuse, and encouraging second-degree child sexual abuse. The charges carry a bail of $1 million, but Taylor remains lodged in the Jackson County Jail on a no-bail probation violation charge, alleging that he failed to register as a sex offender.

A 21-year-old University of Georgia student is facing child pornography charges after a technical support company sent his computer to authorities. On the laptop, police found disturbing images of sexually abused children, the Athens Banner-Herald reports. One image showed a bound, naked toddler  and another showed a child as young as 3 years old, according to warrants obtained by the newspaper.

• 84 percent of prison inmates were abused as children.
• One in three girls and one in five boys are sexually abused by an adult at some time during childhood. (Most sexual abusers are someone in the family or someone the child knows, not the proverbial stranger with a lollipop.)
• Families with four or more children have higher rates of abuse and neglect, especially if their living conditions are crowded or they live in isolated areas.
• More than 80 percent of abusers are a parent or someone close to a child. Child abuse is far more likely to occur in the child’s home than in a day care center.
• One in thirteen kids with a parent on drugs is physically abused regularly. (Drug and alcohol abuse in the family makes child abuse about twice as likely.)
• One out of ten babies born today are born to mothers who are abusing drugs. Drinking and smoking heavily during pregnancy also endangers the health of unborn children.
