PORTLAND — Police arrested Gabriel N. Phelps, 20, Friday evening and accused him of killing his 29-day-old son.

The 8:30 p.m. arrest was made by detectives and officials with the Multnomah County Child Abuse Team, said police spokesman Sgt. Greg Stewart.

LAKE CUSHMAN, Wash. – A transcript of the 911 call made by the mother of 5-year-old Clare Shelswell has been released. She is the girl we posted about a couple days ago whose stepfather, 29-year-old Peter James Wilson, has been accused of murdering her by slitting her throat while the family were on vacation from British Columbia in a rental house on Lake Cushman. Wilson and Clare’s mother Sarah had gotten into an argument about disciplining the girl when Wilson said not to worry that he would take care of it. He told investigators that he knew that he was going to kill the girl when he took her down to the kitchen and slit her throat with a kitchen knife.

GURNEE, Ill. – On June 5th, a 19-year-old girl was approached by a man in the parking lot of Gurnee Mills mall. He said he had a gun and forced the teen to drive hime to an ATM and withdraw money. He then had her drive to a church parking lot where he sexually assaulted her. Finally, he had her drop him off at a 7-11 at which time the girl drove away and notified police. Yesterday police announced they have arrested Richard R. Gallatin, 37, and charged him with aggravated criminal sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping and armed robbery.

Jonesborough, TN- The stupid bitch making her D’D debut today is 37-year old Tammy Tilson Elliott. Elliott is accused of failing to seek medical attention for her 5-year old niece’s injured nose and allowed the child’s nose to become so infected it will now require multiple surgeries to repair. ERWIN — A Unicoi man is facing child abuse and animal cruelty charges following his Tuesday arrest for allegedly striking one of his girlfriend’s children, duct taping her dog’s legs to its body, and rubbing the buttocks of the dog on the faces of her children.

Robert E. Hensley, 29, 3206 Unicoi Drive Lot No. 2, Unicoi, was charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse and neglect and one count of cruelty to animals.

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn.—A Jonesborough woman who fled the area early last month has been arrested today, according to reports from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.

A dangerous pedophile at the center of an international child sex abuse ring has been jailed for a minimum of seven years for raping a 10-year-old boy.

Gareth Hulme, from Manchester, was given an indeterminate sentence for various sex offences, including two counts of rape against a child.

The 25-year-old attacked the boy on successive nights at a festival in Cheshire last summer, luring him away to walk his dog in woods.

Hulme, who worked as a security guard, also lurked internet chatrooms to groom other victims.

A 90-year-old Australian man has been arrested in Thailand and charged with raping and sexually abusing four young sisters, one of them as young as five, police said.

Officers said Karl Joseph Kraus allegedly lured the children, now aged seven to 14, to his home with imported chocolates and English lessons. The alleged abuse started two years ago.
