Argentinian incest case ‘worse than Fritzl’

A 62-year-old Argentine man has been arrested for raping his daughter over a 30-year period and fathering 10 children with her. The woman, who is now 43 years old and cannot be named, accuses her father of raping her since she was 13. She says her 10 children were the product of this sexual abuse, all of which took place in the family home in Santa Fe Province, 600km north of the capital Buenos Aires. The judge hearing the matter described the case as “far worse than what happened in Austria”, a reference to Josef Fritzl who locked his daughter away for 24 years and fathered seven children with her.

69-Yr Old School Bus Driver Charged With Child Sex Abuse

CORONA, NY—A 69-year-old school bus driver from Queens is under arrest Friday on charges that he sexually abused three young girls while driving to and from school. Nelson Painchault, of Corona, Queens, was charged with eighteen counts of first-degree sexual abuse and three counts of endangering the welfare of a chil after he sexually abused three girls — ages seven to nine — between September and November 2010, according to Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown. Brown said Painchult touched the girls on multiple occasions fondled their genitals over their clothes. Painchult was in charge of dropping students at two elementary schools in Corona as well as two middle schools in Elmhurst and Maspeth.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — A 34-year-old Greenville County man is accused of sexually molesting a child he is related to.Greenville County deputies said that Alvin Dewayne Arnold, of Piedmont, is charged with criminal sexual conduct and first-degree lewd act on a child. Investigators said that Arnold abused the child between Dec. 2008 and Aug. 2010 while the child was staying in Arnold’s home.

On Sunday morning, Nov. 9, 2008, Detective Philip Stanford was by himself in the Denver Police Department’s detective bureau. A 2-year-old had been scalded to death, and everybody was out on that case when the phone rang. It was the desk sergeant, down in the lobby. “I picked up the phone,” Stanford recalled, “and he says, ‘There are some kids down here saying they had been tortured and abused for more than a decade.’ ”

That is how Stanford met Kristen and Will Stillman.

They spilled out an outlandish tale of years of beatings, torture and sexual assault by one man and his family. That man, Eric Torrez, had her kids, Kristen said. And could the police please, please get them back. Stanford separated Kristen and Will. First he took Will into a room and began videotaping. The detective remembers how Will unfolded a “convoluted tale of abuse over the last 13 years of his life. And each incident is so horrific that it’s like, ‘Can this really be true?’ ”

Then it was Kristen’s turn.

In the 1970s Atlanta was one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S. A series of murders of black children and teenagers began to emerge, throwing an unwelcome spotlight on the entire city. The murders, believed at that time, to be the work of a racist white group did nothing to recommend the city to tourists and new business opportunities.

Two black boys were found murdered at the end of July 1979, officially starting one of the most highly publicized murder series in history. A couple of years later, 29 black youths would be dead and a black man, Wayne Williams, who many people believe was railroaded by the government, would be imprisoned for life. Recent efforts to vindicate Williams have stalled.

Britain’s most shocking murderer cultivated an obsession with the vaginas of young girls. After his arrest in 1990 police found photographs that Black had taken of himself: one showed him with a wine-bottle up his anus, another with a telephone-handset, yet another with a table leg. Black explained to the incredulous officers that he wanted to see just how much he could fit up there. He also always had an uneasy feeling that he would have preferred to have been a girl – although there was certainly nothing feminine about his behavior – he simply hated his penis and would have preferred to have had a vagina.

When he was 15, he molested between 30-40 girls. After his release from prison, Black left Scotland where he was getting too well-known, and where his police record was expanding. It was time to go south, to the anonymity of London. Although he avoided any criminal convictions in the 1970s his obsession with young girls was growing, fuelled by his discovery of child pornography.

Child Molesters

Incidences of sexual assaults against children have risen when compared with previous decades, and children are increasingly kidnapped by family acquaintances (27%) and strangers (24%) instead of close relatives. Yet more than 90% of sex offenders are never sentenced, in part because their victims are people within their circles usually family members and these children are pressured with threat or shame not to press charges.

Who are these people and what are their motives? Can they be treated effectively so that they no longer present a danger to society? Or are they like drug addicts? Are there any viable alternatives?

It was in Polly’s bedroom in an affluent California suburb that three girls were having a slumber party. Convicted child molester with a history of assaults on children going back to his teenage years, he is nonetheless released on bond when he again molests a youngster. This time, Duncan goes big time. He steals a car, goes to Idaho where stalks an entire family. Then he breaks in, brutally murders the adults and an older child and abducts the two younger children.

When Duncan tires of molesting the abducted boy, he kills him and throws him away. By sheer luck, the abducted girl gets the attention of people in a restaurant who recognize her from Amber Alerts and capture this serial killer and rescue the terrified child.

Marc Dutroux

After serving 3 years of a 13-year sentence for the rape and abuse of 5 young girls, Belgian justice minister released him and a number of other sex offenders for good behavior. Two eight-year-old girls, kept in Dutrouxs dungeon starved to death while he was in prison.

Shortly after Dutroux’s release from jail, more young girls disappeared around neighborhoods where Dutroux owned houses. Police twice searched his houses, but not well. Hidden in a secret sound-proof dungeon in the basement, two girls yearned for freedom. Vital facts concerning the girls disappearances were kept from other police investigators.

Police ignored a tip that Dutroux offered a man between $3,000 and $5,000 to kidnap young girls, hold them for him in a dungeon and later sell them into prostitution. Dutroux’s own mother wrote prosecutors that her son had been keeping young girls in one of his houses. These vital clues about the missing girls were ignored. It would be another year before police would finally pay attention to what the informants had been telling them all along. During that year when nothing was done, other girls disappeared.

Marc Dutroux, a convicted pedophile, murderer and supposed leader of an international child pornography and prostitution ring, gained worldwide attention, not only because of the horrific nature of his crimes, but also the gross negligence and amateurism of police and government officials involved in the investigation. The Dutroux case caused such outrage in Belgium that it prompted one of the largest peacetime demonstrations since World War II and just about brought down the government.

SANTA ANA, CA– A 30-year-old Santa Ana man was convicted Tuesday for assault on a 4-year-old boy. Alberto Guzman, 30, was convicted of one felony count each of assault on a child with force likely to produce great bodily injury resulting in death, corporal injury on a child, and child abuse. Guzman was acquitted of a murder charge. Gabriela Morales, 28, faces murder, assault and child abuse charges for the death of her 4-year-old son. Guzman was convicted for taking part in the child’s abuse.

VALLEJO— A Vacaville couple faces a preliminary hearing in Vallejo Wednesday for allegedly physically abusing their nine-month-old son. Michael Louie Hernandez, 31, and his 38-year-old wife Colleen Lynn Hernandez are being held without bail in Solano County Jail. Vacaville police arrested them Nov. 13 for attempted murder, child abuse and conspiracy. They also are charged with inflicting injury on a child, according to the Solano County jail’s booking log.

Former Foster Parent & Teacher Arrested for Child Porn

Gregg Larsen abused the trust placed in him by abusing children placed in his care. For that, he will serve 25 years.

A former school teacher and foster care provider was sentenced Tuesday to 25 years in prison for producing and possessing child pornography. Gregg Alan Larsen, 49, of Minneapolis, admitted to creating child pornography using children in his care. He admitted to two incidents, in April and July 2006, in which he took digital photographs of a child younger than 12 engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Larsen said he intended to distribute those images over the Internet. In addition, Larsen acknowledged that on July 1, 2009, he possessed eight video files containing child pornography as well as more than 600 images of child pornography. Those items were kept on Larsen’s home computer.

DELAND, Fla. — Volusia County sheriff’s deputies arrested a DeLand man Saturday who they said sexually abused two children he was caring for.David Barberi, 57, was taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach on two counts and sexual battery and two counts of child abuse charges.Investigators said a family member called the Sheriff’s Office at about 9 p.m. Friday to report the incident.

Dreamcatchers for Abused Children was honored to attend the Paso Robles Digital Film Festival (State & Fate of the Children) November 19–23, 2010. We would like to publicly thank MR. BENFORD STANDLEY for inviting us to attend and promote child abuse awareness.

An important part of the PDFF (Paso Robles Digital Film Festival) is our Salute To Children and Youth. Mr. Standley wanted to shed light on the darkness that children suffer in, and honor the film makers that expose their plights. He screened some new and past documentaries that showed the suffrage of children and youth. He singled out, and honored some of the great journalists and producers, that cover these concerns on film, tv, and the Internet, and met some of the directors of these child abuse organizations, and created a forum with the film makers.

Festival Producer, Benford Standley, is deeply dedicated to shedding light in the darkness of the millions of homeless, runaway and missing children, the abused, the autistic, and those falling between the cracks in our society, and sadly, in historic numbers, here in the United States of America…

MI Woman Charged in Sexual Assault, Death of 2-Yr Old Stepdaughter

New Haven, MI– A 28-year-old woman will be arraigned this afternoon in connection with the Saturday murder and rape of her 2-year-old stepdaughter. Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith announced he has charged the woman with felony murder, first-degree child abuse and first-degree criminal sexual conduct in the death of Lily Lynette Furneaux-Wolfengarber. The woman will appear at 1:30 p.m. in New Baltimore District Court. The murder and criminal sexual conduct charges are life felonies. The child abuse charge is a 15-year felony.

Tampa, FL — Felipe “Jiovani” Toledo has been booked on charges of lewd and lascivious battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after posing as a 16-year-old and gettin’ naughty with a 13-year-old girl. According to police, Toledo convinced the victim’s parents his mother had recently died and he had nowhere to go. Sympathetic, the family allowed the man to move into their home. He had been staying there with them for about two weeks before the family grew suspicious and kicked him to the curb – their daughter went with him. The girl’s family called police on Tuesday to report their daughter missing, and investigators determined that Toledo was actually 28-years-old.

Missing Teenager Found Beaten To Death, Classmate Charged

PEARLAND, TX – Joshua Wilkerson, 18, was reported missing on Tuesday after no one had heard from him since leaving school earlier that day. Later that evening, his parents would find his truck abandoned at a strip mall and police would take in a classmate, 19-year-old Hermilo Moralez, loitering near the area and acting suspicious. A massive search began on Wednesday morning, searchers later being directed to a field by Moralez, where they would find Wilkerson’s partially burned body. Moralez confessed to the killing, telling them he and Wilkerson, whom he had known for five years, got into a fight after Wilkerson allegedly made sexual advances towards him. The fight ended with Moralez beating the teen to death with a wooden rod.
