SANTA ANA – The boyfriend of a mother accused of abusing her 2-year-old and 5-year-old sons has also been arrested in connection with participating in the abuse, police said Friday.
Mario Alberto Colin, 31, of Santa Ana, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Friday at the Santa Ana apartment he shares with his wife and two young children, said Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
DENVER — The mother of a 3-year-old girl whose body was found in a trash bag dumped in a ravine pleaded guilty Friday to child abuse and has agreed to testify against her former boyfriend.Miriam Gallegos made her admission in the 2007 death of Neveah Gallegos.The mother had initially claimed her daughter had been kidnapped. However, when questioned about it, she broke down and admitted to police that her 3-year-old was dead and stuffed in two plastic bags, according to arrest affidavits.

William Page, a man had been charged with sexually assaulting and then abandoning his child in the frozen woods, will finally answer for his crime as he was sentenced Tuesday.
