She was conceived on prom night when her parents were 18 and even though they continued to date throughout the pregnancy, they had broken up by the time she was born. After that the father was out of her life, except for a brief period when she was around five years old. Several years later, when the girl was 17, her dad resurfaced and they began chatting online.
