I received the following personal email from teen music/songwriter, Megan Landry—This music video is AMAZING and I wanted to share it with you!! She just won the Arts and Culture Award at the 2012 Spirit of the Capital Youth Awards!
Hi, I’m 15 and wrote this because of a personal experience. I did the video myself too. I was not going to let them break me. Reality, if it shows that it bothers you, they’ll just do it more. I hope this will help those that are starting to feel torn down — to rise up! Don’t let anyone make you a victim. They aren’t worth it.
