Students Watch in Horror as Teen Jumps to Death from Hotel
SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Grief counselors will be on hand Tuesday at Santa Monica High School after a 14-year-old student jumped to his death in front of horrified classmates. Freshman Matthew Mezza was at baseball practice Friday afternoon when school officials say he abruptly fled and yelled that he was going to jump off a building.
