Eleven arrested in Logan County child molestation inquiry

COYLE — Members of three families who live in rundown homes on a patch of eastern Logan County land littered with trash and abandoned vehicles have been arrested in connection with the sexual abuse of children. The Logan County Sheriff’s Department arrested 11 people who lived at the homes on N Meridian Road. Four people were arrested in October, and seven others were arrested Monday on complaints ranging from first-degree rape to enabling child abuse. Logan County sheriff’s Chief Deputy Rob Groseclose said the investigation began in September after a call was placed to a Department of Human Services tip line.
