It was a cool spring morning on Saturday, May 14, 2011, when Alana Anderson received the news every mother fears most. Her daughter Amy was dead, a victim of suicide. Amy’s body was found in a hotel room. Police say she had apparently used a knife. The blow was devastating to Alana. Even though Amy’s pain was now over, Alana’s was only beginning.
