MOTHER INSISTS TODDLER FOUND BEATEN TO DEATH DIED OF SPIDER BITE

Taylor-Lynn-FastUpdate: The boyfriend of the mother in question was a person of interest. Now it has been confirmed that he is in police custody in connection with the death of her child. His name has not been revealed, pending formal charges.

A Missouri woman has been charged with with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child after her 17-month-old daughter was found dead Sunday morning. Local police are saying it’s one of the worst cases of child abuse they’ve ever seen. The child’s mother, 21-year-old Taylor Lynn Fast, called 911 to say her daughter Layla had been bitten by a spider. However, when officers arrived at her home, it was blatantly apparent that the infant’s injuries couldn’t have been caused by an insect bite.
